PROJECT OVERVIEW

The team:

  • 2 Level Designers

  • 4 Game Artists

  • 3 Animators

  • 2 Technical Artists

  • 6 Game Programmers

Production time:

  • 11 weeks half-speed = Around 220 hours.

Engine:

  • Unreal Engine 5 as a level editor

  • Game Engine R.O.S.E made by the team

My Contribution:

  • LD chose to split the levels between us. My responsibility was level 2 (The Basement) and we had continuous feedback between LD to ensure that the claustrophobic horror feeling would be pervasive throughout the game.

  • Close collaboration between programmers in the development of Visual Scripting for our own engine

  • Scripting all puzzle and door gameplay 

  • Some level Propping / Level Art

  • Alpha lighting the levels

  • Member in Visual Scripting  task force

  • Member in Environment task force

  • Member in Enemy/Ai task force

“I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Games Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd. Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.”
